Checking into Hotel & Refresh

You will be met on arrival and driven to Negombo (a journey of around fifteen minutes) and will be booked into a beach hotel. Once you are settled, if you wish to visit a fishing village, this can be arranged or you can simply relax at leisure.

Visit Dambulla and Sigiriya

Set out to Dambulla for lunch. In the afternoon, a visit to the world famous rock fortress at Sigiriya built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century.

Visit Polonnaruwa, Minneriya Park and Elephant Ride

Visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa which is famous for its rock carvings of the Lord Buddha. After lunch, set out on a jeep safari to the Minneriya National Park. This park is famous for homing herds of wild elephants. Return to Dambulla.

Visit Dambulla Rock Temple and Sacred Tooth Relic

Visit the Dambulla Rock Temple. On the way, a stopover at Matale - Spice Garden for lunch. Then proceed to Kandy and book into a hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of the tooth. This is the resting place of the most sacred Buddhist relic. If you wish, you can observe the evening pooja ceremony that starts around 7.00 pm.

Visit Royal Botanical Gardens, Kandy City Tour and Cultural show

Visit the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya, which is renowned for its collection of more than 4000 species of flora. Browse through the city of Kandy in the afternoon. Enjoy a spectacle of Kandyan dancing in the evening.

Visit Pinnawala Elephant orphanage and Gangarama Temple

Proceed to Colombo while visiting the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on the way. A city tour of Colombo in the evening. Colombo is the commercial capital of Sri Lanka consisting of modern and colonial buildings. It is busy with vibrant night life including Casinos.
